NGPL is among the largest domestic natural gas pipelines and storage systems in the U.S. Traversing 10 states in the midwestern and southeastern U.S., NGPL owns over 9,700 miles of gas transmission pipelines supplying approximately 61% of all gas delivered into the Chicago and Northern Indiana markets.

NGPL also owns 13 storage facilities with approximately 600 Bcf of total storage capacity and 258 Bcf of working gas capacity, making it one of the largest storage service providers in the U.S.

With market-competitive long-term contracts, NGPL is a regulated pipeline, charging capacity-based tariffs in accordance with rates established and regulated by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
